Welcome to the Rotary Club of Greater Salem, NH.
Rotary is the world’s first service club founded in 1905 by Paul Harris. It is an organization of professional leaders, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards on all vocations and helps to build peace and goodwill in the world. Rotary International has more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 service clubs. Members are volunteers who work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve education and job training, promote peace and eradicate polio.
Our club meets weekly for fellowship dealing with topics of both local and international importance. We welcome you to come to a meeting as we continue to grow our club by developing and retaining qualified members.
Rotarians worldwide follow our four way test both in their personal and professional lives.
1. Is it the truth? 2. Is it fair to all concerned? 3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
We invite you to browse our website to find out more about our Club and Rotary International.
Yours in Rotary,
Maria C. Bertolone President 2010 - 2011
